I asked for snow, and we got it. How fantastic for the kids. I ran to target to get snow pants and was all ready, or at least I thought I was until we tried everyone’s boots on. Carl was off to Target for bigger boots in the snowstorm, back in a flash and Matt, Kate and Zane hit the yard while Remi took her nap. I was the only one without boots, so I tiptoed in the yard in my Ugg’s and snapped some fun shots. I love this picture of Zane and Kali in our front yard. I played around with the tint and saturation. They are king of the mountain.
When Remi woke up she was excited to join them but a bit frustrated in all the gear. She just rolled right down the hill, kind of funny though. Carl pulled her around for a little while I froze my toes one more time taking pictures of her in the dark, snowy weather. We started to get a layer of ice on top when Matt and Kate decided to try riding together. They went so fast it was incredible. Carl lit a fire in the yard, and the kids played well into the night.
Should I now write a blog about helping all the families living in poverty, the homeless, or hitting the lottery….the wishing for snow evidently worked?
