Off to the Magic Kingdom, we went. Thanks mom for the Triple A diamond parking pass, a quick ride on the ferry boat, bag check, park pass swipe and through the gates right into the parade we went. Kate immediately ran into a friend from her kindergarten class on the boat which was pretty cool.
At the park, the kids seemed to enjoy the crowd, colors, dancers, and blimps. Matt was on a mission to find space mountain so as soon as the rope was clear to the street, we followed the parade down the brick road towards the big white dome. The first bend in the road led us to Stitch’s Great Escape. We had finally decided to read the warning signs before venturing into a line due to Rem’s scare and quickly noticed this was not the ride for her. Daddy and Remi ran (well walked, Carly’s knee is hurting) off to get a FastPass to space mountain and we ventured into Stitch’s darkness. Okay, this was scary, I thought Zane was going to pee himself when it was pitch black for what seemed like 3 or 4 minutes, air started blowing from behind us on our necks, and the overhead shoulder harness started applying pressure. He has scared, and we were thankful Remi did not join us. Dad had taken Remi on Astro Orbiter, and she finally had a positive experience. With our Fastpass in hand, the kids and I headed up the shortcut to space mountain. Little Zane was so scared after the last ride he was in tears as the roller coaster appeared. He hated it, going on a coaster in complete darkness was not his cup of tea. Dad did child swap and took Matt and Kate back on.
