What makes you comfortable with life? Getting married, that new job, promotion, your baby starting kindergarten or passing the bar exam? What is next? That second you think you are comfortable, doesn’t something always change? Are we ever supposed to be comfortable in life? We tell our kids about children starving and how grateful they should be to have food. We mourn someone’s death, and for a few minutes, or hours we realize how blessed we are? We experience pain, whether emotional or physical and silently beg for it to stop. Life is very much like tennis, a game of corrections.
When we make a mistake do we learn from it? When we have a choice, do we always do the right thing?
As technology turns to the cloud when we decide do we just think it floats up to the sky, disappearing without consequence, sitting on a remote server waiting for you to hit the “save to desktop” button?
I don’t have any answers, I just continually evaluate my options, hope I can learn from my mistakes and continue to improve on my decisions. Isn’t that what makes life fun?
